Rosemarie "Dee Dee" Casey (nee Lenois), 78, died suddenly early Christmas morning at home in Narragansett. She worked at Sweenor's Chocolates before retirement and volunteered at South County Hospital for many years. Born in Turners Falls, MA, she is survived by her husband of 54 years, John "Jack" Casey, sons Daniel of Narragansett, Mark of California, and Michael and his wife, Laurie of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Evan, Kerin, Christin, Johnathan and Maryann Casey. She is also survived by her brother, Earl Lenois, his wife Dorothy and many nieces and nephews. An excellent cook and gardener, who loved flowers and enjoyed traveling, Dee Dee was a wonderful wife, mother, friend and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. She will be dearly missed but we know without question she is in paradise. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 3rd at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Star Chapel, Christian Brothers Center, 635 Ocean Road, Narragansett. Visiting hours are at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Wednesday, January 2nd , 4-7 PM.. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South County Hospital, 100 Kenyon Avenue, Wakefield, RI 02879.
