Rose M. Gamble Gink

Rose M. Gink (Gamble), 90, of Wakefield, died Friday. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Philomena (Esposito) Santa Maria. She is survived by her beloved son, Robert Gamble and his wife Frances of Narragansett; a daughter Jeanne Shoemaker and her husband Elden of Mexico, Missouri; a dear step-daughter, Judi McGee and her husband Richard of Cary, North Carolina; a grandson, Rob Gamble and granddaughters, Casey Shoemaker and Michelle Bulna; a brother Julius Santa Maria of Florida; a step-granddaughter, Margaret Gunther and her husband John, and their children Lillian and Anna; a step-grandson, Michael McGee and his wife Karen; and many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Christine Shoemaker and sister of the late Tony, Joe, Jimmy, Anna, Tessie, Philomen, and Camella. The funeral will be 9 am Monday from the Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are Sunday, 4-6 pm.
