Roscoe D. Hosley

Roscoe D. Hosley, 91, of Ministerial Rd., Wakefield, died Monday at home. He was the beloved husband of Audrey (Holley) Hosley, they were married for sixty-two years. Born in North Adams, MA, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Jane (Daniels) Hosley. Mr. Hosley was a self-employed carpenter and cabinetmaker for many years before retiring. He was a W.W. II US Army Veteran and a member of the Wakefield Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, hiking, camping and spending time with his family. Besides his wife he leaves four daughters, Cynthia Hosley, Priscilla Archambault, Christine Hosley all of Wakefield, Wendy Hosley of Charlestown; a son David Hosley of Jamestown; nine grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; one great grandson and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 AM in the Wakefield Baptist Church, 236 Main St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care of RI, 143 Main St., Wakefield, RI 02879, Boy Scouts of America, P. O. Box 14777, East Providence, RI 02914 or Wakefield Baptist Church.
