Rosalind M. Castiglione

Rosalind M. Castiglione, R.N., B.S.N., 80, of Wakefield, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Castiglione for 52 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hope (McGehearty) MacAndrew.

Rosalind was a nurse, led adult day care services in Cranston and Warwick, and was a natural childbirth educator before retiring in 2015. She was also a devoted and generous daughter, mother, wife, and aunt.

She is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth Castiglione and her husband Thomas Hoopes of Newtown, PA; Joe Castiglione and his wife Mica Pollock of San Diego, CA; Andrew Castiglione and his wife Diane of Seabrook, TX; and Monica Galindez and her husband Jackson, of Toa Baja, PR. She is also survived by her sister Hope Schneider of Cincinnati, OH.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10:00 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 4-7 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI.
