Rosalie N. Fairman

Rosalie N. Fairman, (Nason), 84, of Narragansett passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Born in Providence, daughter of the late Earle A. and Rose H. (Welch) Nason. Mrs. Fairman was a school psychologist for the Warwick School Department for many years before retiring. She was a member of the South Kingstown Senior Center; the Great Island Improvement association; the Sand Hill Cove Beach cleanup; the Appalachian Mountain Club; the Sanibel Fitness Center and was an active outdoors person. She is survived by her sons, Bruce L. Fairman and his wife Marcia of Newport, OR and Jordan W. Fairman and his wife Adrien Rothschild of Alna, ME; her brother, Robert Nason of Portland, ME; grandchildren, Jessica M. Frierson and Zachary Fairman and numerous nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014, at 11 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. A celebration of life will be held at Rosalie’s house, 132 Marine Drive, Great Island, Narragansett, following the burial.
