Ronny R. Pucino

October 28, 1977 — April 21, 2020

Ronny Pucino of N. Kingstown passed on April 21, 2020 at the age of 42. He is the son of Michael and Joyce Pucino and brother to Wendy Pucino and Julie Murray, wife of Jim Murray, with daughters Riley and Maeve. Ronny worked at Advanced Auto Body in Wakefield for over 20 years. He graduated from Bishop Hendricken in 1996. Ronny was well known for his exuberant personality. He was larger than life and had a presence about him in any room he entered. He had friends everywhere he went and could befriend a stranger within minutes, finding a friend for life. Ronny had a huge heart and would drop everything to help someone in need. He was definitely one of a kind. Ronny was an avid Patriots fan. He never missed a game often hosting game day parties and attending games with a group of good friends. He collected countless memorabilia to showcase the pride and loyalty that he had for his team. Ronny was also a car enthusiast. He valued the intricacies of a well-made vehicle and was able to see and point out any minute blemish. He would often comment that it was both a blessing and a curse. He was extremely talented in all aspects of the Auto Body industry. Throughout his childhood he was an amazing athlete. BMX was a sport that he excelled in. Achieving the number one rank in the country when he was 14 was clear evidence of his strong commitment and drive. He also had a love for karate and wrestling competing in matches throughout his high school years at Bishop Hendricken High School. Again, his commitment and drive helped him earn great success. He had many interests including car racing, snowboarding, bike riding, refurbishing houses and had a green thumb and a love of plants. Ronny’s ultimate love was the love that he had for his beautiful American Bully Siena. The two were inseparable and she adored him as well. She was his ultimate sidekick. They literally were together 24/7. She misses him dearly. Ronny had a profound love for his two nieces Riley and Maeve as well as the children of his many close friends and thoroughly enjoyed teasing them and riling them up. We will all eternally miss his bear hugs, infectious laugh and the love and loyalty that he had for his family and friends. He was often the life of the party yet was just as content dropping by unexpectedly to visit his family and friends. There will be an enormous void in our lives moving forward without him. Ronny will be missed deeply by the many lives that he touched throughout his lifetime, an amazing soul gone too soon. Ronny's family is mourning his death, but the current environment has prevented them from receiving guests as they would prefer. His family would like to thank all of those friends and extended family members who sent their prayers and support during this difficult time. His Funeral Liturgy will be privately held at St. Francis de Sales Church, North Kingstown. A live streaming of his funeral liturgy will be Tuesday April 28 at 10 am on the Avery-Storti Facebook page.
