Roland L. Lapre, Jr.

Roland L. Lapre Jr, 71, passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2024. Roland is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy (Nightingale), their three sons, Justin (Danielle), Brandon (Oxana), and Ryan (Jackie), his father, Roland Sr., his brother, David (Josephine), his sister Nancy Rego (John), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Aurora (Trudel) Lapre. Roland thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, Alex, Ava, Grace, and Luca.

After graduating from Bryant College, Roland served time in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He spent much of his free time fishing, hunting, and boating, and one of Roland’s favorite activities was preparing and cooking Sunday dinner for the whole family. In addition, Roland was the owner of “Top of the Dock” in Narragansett for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10 AM in Christ the King Church in Kingston, RI. Burial will be private.
