Robin P. Tucker

Robin P (Snyder) Tucker, RN, 57, of Shannock, RI, passed away Saturday, May 4th, 2013 at home. She was the longtime love of Raymond Nickerson. Born in Washington DC, she was the daughter of Beverly (Ricci) Snyder, of Jamestown and the late William W Snyder. Robin was a psychiatric nurse at Butler Hospital, and the 2013 recipient of the Clare Sullivan Award, awarded to her by her peers for leadership and compassionate care. She was the loving mother of Adam M Tucker of Richmond, Jason A Tucker and his wife Stephanie of Ashaway and Alexandra L Tucker and her partner Sarah Marks of Shannock; sister of Kimberly A Eaton of Narragansett, William W Snyder II and his partner Rafael Leonardo of Orlando, FL and Stephanie Snyder Northup and her husband Timothy of South Kingstown; loving grandmother of Amaya D Tucker and Austyn C Tucker. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. An inspired amateur photographer, Robin leaves behind a legacy of photographic visions. She will be remembered and missed boundlessly for her honesty, heart, patience, sense of humor, chicken wings and stuffed mushrooms! Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours, Wednesday, May 8th from 4-7 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 7 p.m. at the Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield, RI.
