Robert L. Wilke

Robert Wilke, 91, of Wakefield, passed away Tuesday at home. He was the husband of the late Janice (Anderson) Wilke. Born in Saunderstown, he was a son of the late John and Audrey (Barrett) Wilke. Mr. Wilke was the Owner of Wilking Studio in Wakefield, until retiring. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and in the United Sates Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the South Kingstown Rotarian Club. He is survived by two daughters, Jayne Maker of Warwick and Meredith Dubuisson of Wakefield; four grandchildren, Alex and Julie Maker, and Calvin and Natalie Dubuisson; and a sister Joan Hoxie of San Diego, CA. Visiting hours will be Sunday 4-6 pm at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Funeral services and burial will be private.
