Robert R (Bobby) Turrisi, 74, of Charlestown passed away peacefully on Friday September 16th, 2022. He was the son of the late Frank and Mary Turrisi (Sommers) and the husband of the late Patricia C. Turrisi. Born in South Kingstown and raised in Peace Dale, Mr. Turrisi was the owner of Narragansett Auto Body in Wakefield for over 25 years. In retirement he kept his towing business and ran it with his son Alex. Bobby was a wonderful mechanic and a gifted body man known around town for his treasured red corvette with “BOB 62” on the license plate. He was a man of few words but had a kind heart and was a friend to all. He leaves behind a step son, Peter D Alling of West Kingston, daughters Sharon Turrisi of Warwick, Alicia R Turrisi of South Kingstown, Sarah Turrisi of Wakefield, his son Alex Turrisi of Charlestown, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. As well as his friend and mother of Sarah and Alex Miriam Parrot, and her son Christopher Parrot. He was the father of the late Raymond L Turrisi and brother Frank M Turrisi. Bobby was a wonderful father who loved his children with everything he had. He enjoyed having meals at Old Mountain Lanes while catching up with old friends and working on classic cars with his Son Alex and friends Chris and Mike. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
