Robert F. Thoresen

Robert F. Thoresen, 75, of Narragansett, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Nancy (Carpenter) Thoresen. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frederic and Mary (Silva) Thoresen.

Robert was a Coast Guard Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 1899. Robert loved traveling, especially to Key West, and spending quality time with his family.

Robert is survived by his children, Robert C. Thoresen and his wife Debralee of North Kingstown and Christa Sisson and her husband Jamison of Wakefield, his grandchildren, Kevin and Lauren McNeil, Christopher Thoresen and Micheal Brownhill, two sisters, Donna Wood and her husband David and Mary McDonough and her husband Robert and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Robert will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 1 to 4 PM followed by Military Honors in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
