Robert "Bob" Siedzik, 83, of Charlestown, RI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. A son of the late Stanley and Tessie (Wondelowski) Siedzik, the stepson of the late Bernard Janowski and the beloved husband of Judith (Plocharski) Siedzik. Bob grew up in New Britain, CT before settling in Bristol, CT where he and Judy raised their family.

Bob graduated from Bristol Eastern High School, class of 1960, where he met his wife, Judy. He then attended Porter School of Design in Rocky Hill, CT and went on to enlist in Army National Guard. Bob began his career at Pratt & Whitney designing jet engines and, later, went on to work for New England Aircraft Products. There, he used Computer Aided Design programs to digitally create 3D models of the engine blades being designed. He eventually moved to TurboCare where he remained until his retirement. His time there allowed him to travel all around the US, Japan and India. Bob and Judy had fallen in love with the Rhode Island beaches while dating and eventually built a summer home in Charlestown where they moved following his retirement.

In his leisure time, Bob enjoyed travelling, fishing, clamming and lobstering all along the coasts of Rhode Island, woodworking, making furniture and enjoying Jimmy Buffet songs.

In addition to his loving wife of 62 years, Judy, Bob is survived by his son, Michael Siedzik and is wife Larissa of Hampton Falls, NH; his daughter, Nancy Siedzik of Charlestown, RI; his brother, Steven Siedzik and his wife Linda of Meriden, CT; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Samuel, Benjamin and Isabelle Siedzik.

The family gives thanks for the outstanding care he received from the staff of Elderwood of Scallop Shell.

Arrangements are in the care of Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield, RI 02879. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 11AM at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave. Bristol, CT 06010 followed by a reception at Luna's Banquet Hall in Forestville, CT. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 13, 2026, in Charlestown, RI.
