Robert S. Bob Gershkoff

Robert Stanley Gershkoff “Bob”, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013. He was the husband of the late Collette (Curran) Gershkoff. He is survived by his seven children, Maggie and Clark Rheinstein of McLean, VA and Wakefield, RI; Anne and Bruce Bowman of Glastonbury, CT; Frank and Dawn Gershkoff of Cranston, RI; Collette and Doug Coleman of Waccabuc, NY; Bob Gershkoff, Dennis Gershkoff and Tom Gershkoff all of Narragansett, RI. His grandchildren are Morgan and Mike Gandal and Kerry Rheinstein; Benjamin and Erin Bowman; Konner and Collin Gershkoff; Olivia, Emmy and Claire Coleman; Nicholas, Julia and Alexander Gershkoff; Kristen and Kelly Gershkoff; and Dylan and Tyler Gershkoff and the late Chad O’Brien. His funeral will be TUESDAY, September 3, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield, RI. Calling hours will be Monday 4-7 p.m. with a special presentation by his grandchildren at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in his name to the Community Preparatory School, 126 Somerset St., Providence, RI 02907 (www.communityprep.org). A private burial with military honors will be held at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday.
