Robert M. Rockwell

Robert M. Rockwell, 61, of West Kingston, died unexpectedly Tuesday. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Littlefield) Rockwell. Born in Westerly, he was a son of Barbara (Dumelow) Rockwell of South Kingstown and the late James Rockwell. Mr. Rockwell was currently employed by Farrell Gas. He was a member of the Rhode Island Antiques Tractor Club, and enjoyed chopping wood. He will be remembered for his “Gift of Gab”. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Eric Rockwell of South Kingstown; a step-son, Steven Caldeira of East Providence; a brother, James Rockwell of Hope Valley; a sister, Diane Tefft of West Kingston; and two step-grandchildren, Abigail Caldeira and Evan Caldeira. A funeral service will be held at 10 am Tuesday in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Hope Valley.
