Robert Joel Pearson

Robert Joel Pearson, 90, of Narragansett, died Wednesday. He was the husband of Jeanne M. (Connors) Pearson. Born in Lowell, MA, he was a son of the late Sven and Hilda (Benson) Pearson. Mr. Pearson was the owner of Pearson Painting Corporation for 52 years, retiring in 1982. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, a long time member of the Laurel Lane Country Club, and an avid bowler. He is survived by four sons, Joel T. Pearson and his wife Jean of Venice, FL, Robert M. Pearson and his wife Gillian and their children Cassie, Alby and Mae all of Wakefield, Gene “Skip” Pearson of Wakefield and Jon R. Pearson of Narragansett. He was the brother of the late P. Albert Pearson. A Funeral service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, November 24th in the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Kingston. Burial with military honors will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
