Robert J. Mccauley, Sr.

Robert J. McCauley, Sr., 77, of Blueberry Lane, died Friday. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Etheridge) McCauley for 56 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Henry and Alice (Dunford) McCauley. He was the owner of Romac & Company Manufacturing for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by seven children and their spouses; Bonnie and Donald Jones of Parish, FL, Robert McCauley, Jr. of Charlestown, Elizabeth and Christopher Conley of Matunuck, Kevin and Susan McCauley of Matunuck, Susan and Michael Walsh of Matunuck, Patricia McCauley of Charlestown and Matthew and Donna McCauley of Charlestown, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Henry McCauley, Jr. and Donald McCauley. Visitation will be Monday 9 – 10 AM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck Schoolhouse Road, Charlestown.
