Robert J. Lites

Robert Lites, 88, of Sarasota FL, died Aug. 27. Bob served in the Army, 25th Infantry Division during WW II both in the Philippines and Japan holding the rank of Sergeant Major. He worked for Ford Motor Co. for 35 years ending his career as a Quality Control Manager. He performed several years of volunteer service at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI. He was a Mason and member of the VFW and Elks of Sarasota FL and Wakefield RI. Bob is survived by his daughter Joann, two grandsons, Gavin of Kingston, RI and Norman of Santa Fe New Mexico and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI at 1: 30 PM on Fri. Sept. 3rd.
