Robert Gunny Gaudet

Robert Matthew Gaudet, 63, of Narragansett, passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 20th in the comfort of his home. Born in Providence, he was a son of Lucy Davis of North Providence and the late Robert A. Gaudet of North Smithfield. Bobby "Gunny" served honorably in the United States Marine Corp for 20 years and followed up his careers in the Providence Airport Bomb Squad as well as a police officer on Block Island. He is survived by his daughter; Bonnie Carter of North Providence, his three grandsons: Evan, Austin, and Matthew, and siblings: Dawn Marano, Debra White, Joann & Charles "Chuck" Bianchi, Lori Perron & Kim Meers. A celebration of his life will be held at the Twin Willows in Narragansett from 3-6pm on Monday, July 30th. Due to capacity we ask that close friends and family only attend. He will be missed greatly by his extended family and friends at Twin Willows.
