Robert Ray
Doliber
July 24, 1934 – June 15, 2026
Robert "Bob" R. Doliber, 91, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Monday June 15th. Born in South Kingstown to his loving parents, the late Ray and Genevieve (Rose) Doliber. He was the devoted husband to the love of his life Elaine (Muncey) Doliber for 69 years.
Bob was raised in the fishing community of Pt Judith and followed in his father's foot steps to become a commercial fisherman working on many boats primarily the Anna Grace, Valiant Lady and Saint Jude. Later in his life he became a lobsterman on his boat "Fun Yet" until retirement. Bob enjoyed bass fishing, wood working and camping. He was an avid women's basketball fan and loved to cheer on his team the UConn Huskies. Bob served in the US Army stationed in Germany from 1957 - 1959.
Besides his wife, Bob is survived by his daughters, Joann Almlof (John) and Lori Eldridge (Mark) and his grandchildren, Ryan Wakefield (Kelly), Reid Wakefield (Jaime), Brad Eldridge (Danielle) and Matthew Eldridge (Danielle). As well as his great grandchildren Lilly, Alex, Annabelle, Hudson, Bennett and Marlowe. He is pre-deceased by his sister Betty Lenth.
