Robert Fusco Defusco

Robert DeFusco (Fusco) 63, of Warwick, RI passed away peacefully at home on Monday December 9, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife Nadine (Springer) DeFusco, daughter Gina (DeFusco) Gerds and her husband Dana, son Robert DeFusco and his wife Misty, grandchildren Isabella Rose and Robert Ethan DeFusco. He is also survived by his brothers Ralph DeFusco of Narragansett, Edward DeFusco of Wakefield, sister Judith (DeFusco) Ray of Jamestown, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Ralph DeFusco, mother Helene (Pothier) DeFusco-Fitzsimmons, his sister Evelyn (DeFusco) Gardner and brother David DeFusco. Bob had a wonderful sense of humor and was a great storyteller. His embellished tales were so entertaining that no one ever dared question their validity. He brought a smile to every face he met. If he was in the room, you knew it! A veteran of the Viet Nam war, Bob was a great dad, grandfather, husband, brother and friend. He was an extremely hard worker who, in his retirement, loved spending time with his grandchildren and time on the golf course. The world was a better place because of him and he will be sorely missed. A Gathering in his memory will be held this Friday, December 13, 2013 at Peace Dale Congregational Church in Fellowship Hall, 261 Columbia Street, Peace Dale, RI 02879 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
