Robert E. Cottrell

Robert E. Cottrell, 60, of Charlestown, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Kelly) Cottrell for 26 years. Born in Coventry, he was a son of the late Robert A. and Elizabeth A.(Jacobs) Cottrell. Mr. Cottrell was employed by Electric Boat, Groton, CT, retiring in 2000. He was a sports enthusiast and loved animals. Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Katie Martin of Blackstone, MA, Ally LaFave of Douglas, MA, Jackie Bergmann of Omaha, NB, and David Cottrell of Stoneham, ME; and five grandchildren.
