Robert Michael Ciminero

January 5, 1958 — June 24, 2023

Robert “Robbi” Ciminero, 65, of Charlestown, Rhode Island, formerly of Niles, Ohio passed away

surrounded by family and loved ones on June 24, 2023. Robbi was the beloved husband of Paula Elser-

Clare Ciminero, loving father of, Danielle, Devin Ciminero, and Colin Clare, doting grandfather to

Torin, Finn and Araya and a brother to Ronald Ciminero, Marianne Hurley, Neil Ciminero and Sandy

Bilovesky. Robbi was a compassionate, motivating and giving friend, often described as the “man behind

the curtain.” He is preceded in death by his parents Neil and Anne Ciminero and brother, Paul Ciminero.

Born and raised in Niles, Ohio, Robbi was later called to adventure and found himself in Rhode Island,

where he became a proficient tradesman and held various careers within the fields of construction,

pipefitting, carpentry and HVAC.

Here, Robbi grew into a talented craftsman including the building and renovating of his home,

construction of the well-known barn that hosted various parties and crafting of a sailboat.

He was married to Ann Ciminero in his twenties and welcomed the title of father to Devin and Danielle.

Twenty-five years later he was reunited and married to his childhood sweet-heart, Paula and selflessly

became a father, again to his step-son Colin.

He was known to be his family’s biggest motivator, encouraging loved ones to follow their dreams,

passions and gifts.

Along with being a craftsman, he was a talented musician- he wrote songs, played piano, guitar and

pedal steel. He performed for many years with the Just-us band and at home parties just for friends.

He had passion for creating and put his heart into everything, even transforming the metals he worked

with into pieces of copper art to gift to loved ones.

Every year he planted a huge garden in his backyard and loved handpicking his own food and sharing it

with friends.

He was also a lover of animals and with his wife, shared their passion of animal rescue.

He will be remembered for his generosity and love for his family and friends.

He will also be remembered for his sense of humor, outrageous stories, silly jokes, hand crafted art,

passion for music, delicious homemade dinners, and his humble shy smile whenever someone tried to

compliment him. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flower, the family requests donations be made to Animal Rescue Kingdom and/or Cenla

Alliance for Animals organizations Robbi felt strongly about. Please see donation links below. His life

will be celebrated in a private memorial for family and friends. Thank you to everyone for their thoughts

and prayers for Robbi and the Clare- Ciminero Family.
