Robert "Bob"Carvalho Jr, of Narragansett, died on June 22nd, 2026 at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center.

He was born on October 20,1964 to Robert Carvalho Sr and Patricia (Amerson) Carvalho. Robert graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School before discovering his true passion for carpentry. He was incredibly proud of the family home he built but the children he raised within its walls were truly his world. Bob took immense pride in his children Kyle Carvalho and Nichole (Carvalho) Ayres and the adults they have become. When his kids were little, Bob loved being involved in their activities and dedicated his time to coaching youth hockey, creating cherished memories both on and off the ice. Outside of family life Bob was happiest when working with his hands in his wood shop, fishing or cooking a delicious meal. Bob was the life of the party, with a diverse music taste he knew how to lighten the mood and get the party started.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother Patricia. He is survived by his son, Kyle Carvalho; his daughter, Nichole Ayres, and her husband, Jordan; and his father, Robert Carvalho, Sr. He also leaves behind his sisters, Robin Etchingham and Kim Hindle; and his brothers, Wayne Carvalho, Paul Carvalho, and Patrick Carvalho.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Hope Health Hospice Center for their exceptional care, comfort, and compassion during Bob's final days.

A celebration of Bob's life will take place at a future date. The family will share service details once they are confirmed.
