Robert William Burns, Jr.

Robert William Burns, Jr., 57, of East Providence, passed away August 20, 2014. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert W. Burns Jr. and Patricia E. (Doyle) Burns. Mr. Burns was a school teacher for the Fall River School Department for eighteen years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, golf, music and coin collecting. He was the brother of Patricia Auerbach of Alexandria, VA, Joanne Carter of Cranston, Kathleen Hicks of North Kingstown, Susan Zweighaft of San Marino, CA and the late Barbara Totah. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private.
