R.N. Eileen Mary Millerick

Eileen Mary (Flynn) Millerick, R.N., passed away at her home at Green Hill on Friday, January 11, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. Millerick, for sixty-one years. Mrs. Millerick was born in Providence on September 5, 1926, a daughter of the late Christopher S. and Anna (Campbell) Flynn. She was a 1944 graduate of St. Xavier Academy and a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Providence where she was the president of her class. She worked as a registered nurse for many years at the Providence Unit of St. Joseph Hospital and was a clinical instructor. She was the sister of the late Esther I. Flynn, Dr. Joseph Flynn, Raymond Flynn, and Edwin Flynn. Besides her devoted husband, Mrs. Millerick leaves six loving children; Ann Marie Roccio and her husband William, Kathleen Millerick and William Walsh, Dr. Thomas J. Millerick, Jr. and his wife Linda, Mary Paula Millerick, R.N.,Esq. and her husband Seth Belson, Robert Millerick, Esq. and his wife Joanne, and Carolyn Saillant and her husband Patrick. She was the mother of the late Paul Thomas Millerick. Mrs. Millerick also leaves ten adored grandchildren; Stephanie Sadler, Matthew Roccio, Christopher Marrero, Michael Roccio, Thomas Millerick, Robert Millerick, Lindsay Millerick, Lauren Millerick, Daniel Saillant, and Andrew Saillant. She also leaves her great-grandson, Owen Thomas Sadler. The funeral will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 8:45 AM from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Road, Charlestown, RI 02813. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4–8 PM.
