Rita Kansas

Rita Kansas, 63, of Narragansett, died Saturday. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Evangeline (Leatos) Kansas of North Kingstown and the late Michael Kansas. Ms. Kansas was an animal lover, especially cats and birds. Besides her mother, she is survived by cousins and many friends. She was the sister of the late Michael Kansas and Peter Kansas. Visiting hours will be from 1-2 PM Thursday, followed by a funeral service at 2 PM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private.
