Richard A. Wordell

Richard A. Wordell, 78, of Wakefield, died Sunday. He was the beloved husband of Louise (Winward) Wordell for 50 years. Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late Albert & Isabel (Kaye) Wordell. Mr. Wordell grew up in Little Compton and was a graduate of Josephine Wilbur High School in 1954. Mr. Wordell was a real estate agent and an auctioneer. He enjoyed listening to classical music and NASCAR. He will be remembered as always willing to help others. He was the brother of the late James Wordell. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Friday from 9 - 10 am , with a service at 10:30 am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Burial with military honors will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
