Richard F. Dick Page

Richard F. "Dick" Page, 89 of South Kingstown, and formerly East Providence, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at South County Hospital. He was the beloved husband of June C. (Martin) Page for sixty-one years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George C. and Julia B. (Sweet) Page. Mr. Page was a revenue agent for the Division of Taxation State of RI for twenty years. He was a life member of the Snug Harbor Fire Department where he was past-treasurer and a former delegate to the South Kingstown Firefighters Relief Association. He enjoyed watching and photographing the summer activities at Snug Harbor Marina. He was a WW II US Army Veteran who served as a medical technician. He was the father of Debra Zepp of South Kingstown, Steven Page, and was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Page. He was grandfather of Jeremy Cortellessa, Jamie Lee Dumond, Kristin Reitz and Kyle Zepp; great grandfather of six and great, great grandfather of one. He was the brother of the late George C. Page Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
