Richard Thomas Male

Richard Thomas Male, 69, of South Kingstown, RI, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 16, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Alison (Jacobsen) Male for 41 years. Born in Amsterdam, New York, he was the son of the late John Henry Male, Jr. and June Theresa (Conley) Male. He was a Vietnam War veteran; was a materials coordinator for ODECO where he was stationed on oil rigs around the world, and then employed by SENESCO before retiring. Rick loved his family and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed golfing, reading, and family gatherings where he loved telling stories of his travels. Besides his loving wife he is survived by his siblings, June Siegenthaler (Tom) of Odenton, MD, John Male III (Marcelle) of John’s Creek, GA, Donna McNamara (Dan) of Amsterdam, NY, Kathy McMartin (Jim) of Amsterdam, NY, Tammy Dwyer (JR) of Gloversville, NY, Ronald Male (Kelley) of Broadalbin, NY, and many nieces and nephews. His funeral services will be private.
