Richard M. Ead, Jr.

June 1, 1970 — January 17, 2019

Richard M. Ead, Jr., 48, of Wakefield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Born in Providence, he was the son of Richard M. Ead, Sr. and Margaret H. (Salisbury) Ead of Wakefield. Richard (Rick) had worked in construction with experience working under extreme conditions such as at the US Ice Station in Antarctica and in Iraq. He has also worked in construction at the Pearl Harbor Naval Base, HI. More recently he has worked and developed skills in various appliance repair and HVAC. Rick graduated from South Kingstown H.S. and went on to graduate from New England Tech with an Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting. Some of his past enjoyments include fishing and boating. He was a couch potato when it came to sports on TV with preferences toward football and baseball. Besides his parents, he is survived by his beloved children, Brandyn, Brianna and Sophia Ead; his brother, Steven A. Ead of Houston, TX; his sister, Heather May Ebel of Wakefield; his uncle, William Salisbury of NY; his aunts, Farida Ferrario and Maureen Buccacci both of Providence and his former wife, Toni Lynn Ead of NY. Rick was very talented. A very loving son and brother and loved his children. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 10 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 4-7 pm.
