Richard J. Cinquegrana, Sr., 79 of South Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly, on February 19th, 2026, at South County Hospital. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Charles and Hazel (Stone) Cinquegrana. He was the husband of Linda D. Cinquegrana for 56 years.
Richard was drafted into the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War as a medic. He played on the men's softball league in the early seventies for the Unity Club. He was also a lifetime member of the Peace Dale Fire Department.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his five children, Tracie Warren and her husband Chris, Amy Cinquegrana, Jennifer Cinquegrana, Richard Cinquegrana, Jr and Elizabeth Kolodziej and her husband Paul, and his three grandchildren, Eric Warren, Christian Warren and Jacob Kolodziej. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Hume, Katherine Olean and Carol Sandrelli and his brother, Charles Cinquegrana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 25th, 2026 from 4 to 7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield
