Richard Dube Cerasale

Richard Dube Cerasale, 74, of South Kingstown, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Jill (Forman) Cerasale. Born in Waterbury, CT, he was the son of the late Generose R. and Jeannine M. (Despres) Cerasale.

Richard was a graduate of Warwick Vet’s High School and lived in Warwick before moving to South Kingstown. He was a Patrolman for the Warwick Police Department for several years before retiring. Richard was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the International Painters and Allied Trades Local 1333. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, his dogs, golfing, cooking and working around the house.

Besides his wife he leaves his son, Richard T. Cerasale, Jr. and his wife Nicole; he was the father of the late Jonathan Cerasale, cherished grandfather of Sophia, Isabella and Jack; brother of Linda Sforza, Daniel Cerasale, Jeffrey Cerasale, Jean Carta and John Cerasale; step-father of Rob Avarista.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. A committal service with military honors will be Friday, October 6,2023 at 10:00am in The RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
