Rhonda Ann Vespia

Rhonda Ann Vespia, 59, of Narragansett, R.I. peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family, January 21, 2022 after a brief illness. Born in Providence RI, Rhonda was the beloved daughter of Vincent Vespia and Judith-Ann Vespia of Matunuck, RI. She was the loving mother of the late Chad O’Brien, and the devoted mother of her two sons, Dylan T. Gershkoff and Tyler T. Gershkoff, both of Narragansett RI. She is also survived by her sister Renee Caouette and her husband Ronald Caouette Jr, of Matunuck R.I., her sister Robin Vespia of Narragansett R.I., her nephew Dante V. Caouette of Matunuck R.I, and her loving companion John Peterson of Narragansett R.I. Rhonda graduated from South Kingstown High School where she was an All State sprinter. She continued her education at Ocean State Business Institute, and after graduation she worked as an oral surgeon’s assistant for many years. Rhonda was an advocate of all-natural body building and an avid body builder herself. She participated competitively throughout New England, where she received national recognition. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and had a love for the outdoors. Rhonda especially loved spending time with her family. Rhonda was as strong as she was empathetic. She shared the highest degree of unconditional love and compassion, whether it be her family, her friends, or any soul she encountered, anyone that was fortunate enough to know her was blessed by her compassion, wit, and friendship, She has been, and will always be an inspiration to all. Services are respectfully omitted and interment will be private.
