Rehuben B. Smith, Jr.

Rehuben B. Smith Jr., 57, of Exeter, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie (Greene) Smith. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of Lois A. (Tanner) Smith and the late Rehuben B. Smith Sr. Rehuben worked for General Dynamics Electric Boat Division in Groton for thirteen years. He was the owner of R. Smith Oil and Smithridge Farm in Exeter. His passion was raising beef cattle and miniature donkeys. Besides his wife he leaves a daughter Karen McCormick of Exeter; a son, Rehuben Smith III of Richmond; sisters Marilyn Rice and Barbara Bridges both of West Kingston; and six grandchildren, Troy, Tyler, Katelyn, Kyle, Janelle and Rehuben IV. The funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
