Raymond Edward Pates

Raymond Edward Pates, 44, of Kingston, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Kent County Memorial Hospital, Warwick. Born in South Kingstown on April 2, 1965, he was a son of Katherine Pates of Kingston and the late Joseph Walmsley. He was a graduate of South Kingstown High School and he was a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. Besides his mother he is survived by two sisters, Sandra Pates of South Kingstown and Deirde Pates of Providence; and his step-father, Joseph Harris of Kingston. A funeral service will be Monday at 1 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will take place in New Fernwood Cemetery, at a later date.
