Raymond Pete Nardelli

July 22, 1954 — December 23, 2019

Raymond "Pete" Nardelli, 65, of North Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 23rd . He was the beloved husband of Teresa "Teri" Lowe for 23 years. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Raymond Nardelli and June (Dube) Nardelli Schupp. Mr. Nardelli was an active member of Christ the King Church, serving on the lawn committee, singing in the choir, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, and a Stephen Minister. He is a Vietnam Era Veteran, serving honorably with the Marine Corp. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Melanie Nardelli-Allan of Virginia Beach, VA and Raymond E. Nardelli, Jr. of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Anthony Nardelli-Allan, Eli Nardelli-Allan, Samantha Nardelli, and Stryder Walls; three sisters, Paulette McWaters and her husband Jerry of Virginia, Val Gibson and her husband Paul of Blackstone, MA; and Joyce Thornberg and her husband Ray of Georgia; and a brother John Schupp of Lincoln. He was the brother of the late Linda Prew and her husband Harry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, December 30th, at Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingstown. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Sunday, 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
