Raymond Adelard Jacques

Raymond A. Jacques, 84, of Wakefield, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. He was the husband of Georgette E. (Parenty) Jacques for 67 years. Born in West Warwick, the son of the late Adelard and Mary (Raymond) Jacques. Raymond was a carpenter and locksmith for 26 years at the Coventry School Department before retiring. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran during the Korean War and he enjoyed furniture and cabinet making. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Raymond K. Jacques and his wife Margaret Iacuele of Coventry and Pearl E. Hirsbrunner and her husband Dieter of Wakefield; three grandchildren, Justin Jacques, Alyssa and Andrew Hirsbrunner; his brother, Kenneth Jacques of CA and his sister, Mary Ann Cunha of Coventry. He was the brother of the late Richard Jacques. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, 12 noon to 2 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2 pm in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale.
