Raymond J. Holcombe

Raymond J. Holcombe, 70, of Arrowhead Rd., Narragansett, died unexpectedly Sunday. Born in Bourne, MA, he was the son of Josephine (Dymek) Holcombe of Narragansett and the late Robert Holcombe. Mr. Holcombe served in the US Coast Guard. He was a self employed carpenter for many years and worked as a pipefitter for Electric Boat Quonset. He enjoyed golf and fishing, but most of all spending time with his family. He was the father of Kimberly Rarick of Exeter, Kelly Parker of Fall River, MA, Raymond Holcombe Jr. of Lake Tahoe, CA and Matthew Holcombe of Narragansett; brother of Robert Holcombe of South Kingstown and loving grandfather of, Ryan, Chelsea, Mitchell, Meaghan, Jacob, Michael and Benjamin. Visiting hours Thursday 5-7 PM followed by a prayer service at 7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
