Phyllis L. Shortall

Phyllis L. Shortall, 76, of Narragansett, died Monday. She was the beloved wife of Thomas P. Shortall, Sr., for 57 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Daniel W. and Dorothy I. (Schwaner) Jacques. Mrs. Shortall was employed in the Jewelry industry for many years. Besides her husband she is survived by five children; Thomas P. Shortall, Jr. of Maine, Scott Shortall of Glenwood, CA, Douglas P. Shortall of Lincoln, Dorothy McMahon of Thompson, CT and Stephen Shortall of Coventry; and four grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Daniel W. Jacques, Jr. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Sunday 2-4 PM. Burial will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
