Phyllis H. Hull

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Phyllis H. Hull (Hathaway), 91, on Monday, January 31, 2022 after a fall two weeks prior. She was the wife of the late Philip S. Hull. Born in a house in North Kingstown, one of six children, daughter of the late Stephen W. and Elsie M. (Brown) Hathaway. She is survived by her children, Peter Hull (Laina), Donna Bolton (the late David), James Hull, Elsie Johnson (David), and David Hull (Debbie); two step daughters, Sue Sousa and Mary Poirier; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Betty A. MacDonough and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late S. Wilfred Hathaway, Alice Gardner, Arlene Thayer, and Hope Richards. Family was her life and she will be greatly missed. A visitation for Phyllis will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Phyllis’s memory to the charity of your choice.
