Phyllis Claire Foisy

Phyllis C. Foisy, 92, of Narragansett passed away peacefully at home on Friday February 12, 2021. She was born in Central Falls, R.I. The only child of H. Frank and Ida (Bernard) Foisy. Phyllis was a dedicated, valued, well respected educator and Assistant Principal while employed for her entire career by the New York Public School System. Upon retiring from her educational career in the Bronx she moved to the family home in Narragansett. She was very devoted to her faith. As a parishioner of St. Mary Star of the Sea and forever an educator at heart, she continued to enrich lives by teaching Catechism and loved participating with the choir. Phyllis enjoyed life to the fullest. Her passions included animals, wintering in Florida, skiing, swimming and traveling around the world. She avoided cooking but truly loved dining out. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday February 18, 2021 at 10:30am St. Mary Star of the Sea.
