Phyllis Tootie Boisclair

Phyllis A. “Tootie” Boisclair, 74, of South Kingstown, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. She was the wife of the late Robert Boisclair. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Barbara (Cooke) Rice. Phyllis worked at South County Hospital for seventeen years before retiring in 2006. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the loving mother of Donna Briggs and her husband Steven, Beverly Davis and her husband Robert, Jennifer Boisclair and the late Robert P. Boisclair Jr.; sister of Millie Standeven, Barbara Holland and the late Howard T. Rice; grandmother of fifteen grandchildren and great grandmother of one great granddaughter. The funeral will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
