Peter Ventura Corpus, Jr.

Peter Ventura Corpus, Jr., 78, of Wakefield, died Monday. He was the beloved husband of Fedy Velasquez Corpus. Born in Manila Philippines, he was a son of the late Pedro and Mercedes Corpus. Mr. Corpus was a Certified Public Accountant and an import/export trader for various companies. He has been a resident of South Kingstown since 1983. Formerly a resident of New Jersey, he also served as President of the New Milford Lions Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Paul, Gina and MaryAnn; four grandsons, Neil, Ben, Jackson and Adam; three sisters and a brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday at Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Rd., Kingston. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield on Friday 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers you may offer a donation to Scalabrini Villa Chapel, North Kingstown, RI.
