Peter D. Alling, Sr.

Peter D. Alling Sr, 76, of Wakefield, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014. He was the life partner of Judith S. McCoombs. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Richard and Roby (Smith) Alling. Pete was a longtime commercial fisherman out of Pt. Judith. He enjoyed hunting, quahauging, fishing, and of course entertaining his family and friends. He was the father of Peter D. Alling Jr. of Narragansett, Sharon Turrisi of Providence, Susan Lee of Detroit, MI and the late David Alling; brother of Richard Alling and his wife Sandy of Cranston; grandfather of Nicole Bishop, Alicia Bailey, Craig and EJ Turrisi; great grandfather of Emma Bishop and Rosalie Turrisi. Services will be private.
