Pearl Chartier

Pearl Chartier, 86, formerly of Woodman’s Trail, Wakefield, died Tuesday at South County Nursing Center, North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late Leo W. Chartier, they were married for sixty-one years. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Stella (Morris) Fisher. Mrs. Chartier was a 1938 graduate of Central Falls High School. She worked as a bank teller in Wakefield and as a legal secretary for Woody Tucker. She was a member of the Rainbow Girls and Order of Eastern Star. She leaves several nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Mark Fisher III. A private funeral service will be held Friday in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
