Pauline Frances Webb (Maciag), 85, of Narragansett, Rhode Island, passed away on September 21st, 2020. The daughter of the late Edward and Victoria Maciag, she was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. She was blessed by and devoted to her children, Janice Webb, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, Donna Webb-Pierson (son-in-law Michael Pierson) of Wakefield, Rhode Island, Michael Webb (daughter-in-law Margaret Murphy Webb), David Webb, and Christine Webb, of Wyoming, Rhode Island, and Paul Webb, of South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Pauline is survived by her sister Mary Bartholomew and brother-in-law, James Bartholomew, of Apopka, Florida, and her sister Jean Maciag of Cranston, Rhode Island. She was the sister of the late Frances Loomis, of Tiverton, Rhode Island. Pauline leaves four beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth Peabody, Michael Webb, Jr., Andrew Webb, and Nicholas Pierson, as well as three cherished nephews, great nephews, and a great-niece. Pauline graduated from Central High School in Providence, and in later adulthood enjoyed taking classes at the University of Rhode Island. She was an avid reader. Pauline was co-owner of Mama Rosa’s Italian Restaurant in Wakefield, RI for several years during the late 1970’s and 80’s, and greatly enjoyed her role of hostess, welcoming people, and knowing her employees. Pauline loved the beaches in South County, and especially enjoyed walking Narragansett beach. She often did this with her sister Mary, during the years she was able to. She was a wonderful cook and baker and enjoyed delighting her friends and family with her special meals and desserts. Pauline also relished classical music and listened to it daily. She was the proud pet parent of several dogs and cats, over the years. Visiting hours were private. Funeral services were also private, and held at Christ the King Church, in Kingston, Rhode Island. Donations in her memory may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Rhode Island.
