Paul F. Valiquette

Paul F. Valiquette, 84, of West Windsor, NJ, peacefully passed away Friday, June 4th, 2021 at South County Hospital, Wakefield, RI. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Delcorso) Valiquette. They were married for 64 years. Born in Boston, MA, he was a son of the late Albert and Emily (Ellis) Valiquette. Paul grew up in Boston and attended Boston schools and Northeastern University. He was a self-employed contractor and salesman. Paul was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. He also loved baseball and was a loyal Red Sox fan. He was an avid pool player from a young age and enjoyed playing poker later in life. He loved to joke around and spend quality time with friends and family. He always loved to sit and talk, with anyone and everyone. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Jean M. Borden of Palm Bay, FL, Paul G. Valiquette and his wife Wilma of Towson, MD, Mark A. Valiquette of Brockton, MA, and Emily J. Urban and her husband Mark of West Windsor, NJ. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jillian P. Sommer and her husband George, Jeremy P. Borden and his fiancé Kristen Buckles, Gregory P. Valiquette and his fiancé Eve Ferracci, Brooke E. Nagle and her husband Joshua, Zachary M. Urban, Tobias M. Urban, and Isabel M. Urban, and four great grandchildren, Lora R. Sommer, Keira A. Sommer, George N. Sommer and Ivy G. Nagle. A Mass to celebrate Paul’s life will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 10 AM in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wide Horizons for Children, Inc. directed towards Chiquitines.
