Paul N. Gartner

Paul N. Gartner, 84, of Narragansett and East Providence, died Sunday. He was the husband of the late Lillian M. (Pray) Gartner. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Jacob and Elsa (Kissinger) Gartner. Mr. Gartner was employed by the J.J. Gregory and Sons Company for 33 years and he served in the US Navy during WW II. He will be remembered as always being a great host at his home in Narragansett. He is survived by five children, Eric Gartner, Kurt Gartner, Kim Gartner, Karl Gartner and Neal Gartner; a sister, Luise Kirkhuff; a brother, Jacob Gartner; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his twin brother Richard Gartner. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
