Narragansett Indian Tribe Member "A friend to all" Paul “Rocky” Fry Jr., 48, passed away suddenly, Friday October 22, 2010 at home. Born in South Kingstown, Rocky lived in Cape Cod for the past eleven years. He was the son of Gloria (Champlin) Fry and the late Paul Fry Sr. and step-son of Tito Ortiz. Rocky was a graduate of South Kingstown high School and also attended Howard University. He worked several years at the former Ladd School and later continued to share his compassion and patience as a home health care giver. He was a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. Rocky was known for his gift to make people laugh and his love of music. He made friends with people where ever he went. He will be greatly missed. Besides his mother, who was his heart and soul and step-father he is survived by two brothers, Darryl Fry of Exeter and Douglas Fry of Charlestown; four sisters, Marlene Miller of Providence, Rhonda Fry of Cranston, Samantha and Katy Fry both of Warwick; two very special friends, who were just like brothers, Curtis Coppock and David Giles Jr. He also leaves a loving host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation Friday 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield followed by a funeral service at 12:30 P.M. Burial will be private.
