Patty J. Sweet

Patty J. Sweet, 72, of Wakefield, died Sunday. She was the beloved wife of Raymond J. Sweet for 50 years. Born in Claremont, NH, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Katherine (Moretti) Rice. She was a graduate of Stevens High School in Claremont. Mrs. Sweet was a clerical person for many companies, most recently for “Catered To Your Whims”. Besides her husband she is survived by two children, Anthony Michael Sweet of Richmond and Melissa Ann Sweet of Coventry; a sister Betty Ann Walker of Aiken, SC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assn., 146 Clifford Street # 1, Providence, RI 02903-4163.
